Toyota adds another model in the Prius family named Prius Plus as a practical solution than its predecessor.
In the standard Prius, the silhouette trapezoid often divides opinion, but everyone kinda silent about when you mention the story of aerodynamics. However, the silhouette of the Prius Plus has a triangular shape so that the new form is a cross between a wagon and an elevated MPV, in any case very appealing. With a length of 4615 mm higher than the standard sufficient for 135 mm and 80 mm longer wheelbase promises a good job in terms of the range of the interior.
The driver can quickly adapt to a lot of their “job”. Seating position is excellent, and somehow control the correct position. The center console has sharp lines and not quite pleasing appearance on the first date, but the functionality is excellent and praiseworthy. Excellent LCD screen and nearly infallible navigation system we were great companions in unfamiliar territory. Mid digital speedometer is well visible, but it is also a great solution head-up display, which contributes to a better informed and driver concentration.
The hybrid combination of gasoline 1.8-liter engine and electric motor has a maximum of 136 hp and a solid acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h, which is 11.3 seconds. Top speed is 165 km / h but during the promotional drive not reached due to strict traffic regulations, especially in Austria. Combined highway and regional road resulted in an average consumption of about 4.8 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers.
